Coffee Lover's BlogHop - Day 6

It was not many years ago you did not combine polka dots and plaids...however, how many times do you see polka dots and plaids together...a lot.

Stamped the cups on both Kraft and a design paper.  On the Kraft paper used the pumpkin stamp to give a pattern to the cup, fussy-cut the design paper and pieced over the Kraft Cup. Stamped the sentiment and adhered to plaid background with 3D Thin Foam Tape.  

Stamped the pumpkin on the design paper and on white cardstock, fussy-cut and layered on background.

Friends Make Life Colorful - AHSC #179

This sketch was very difficult for me, and I didn't want to do just banners and when I saw the theme at Heart2Heart "Adventure at Heart2Heart"...newest colors come from this fun, vibrant color palette featuring the colors Pansy, Pacifica, Lagoon, Emerald, Willow, Lemon, Tangerine, Blossom, Raspberry and Cranberry this palette will make your heart sing!   

I couldn't help but pull in the "pallette".

Brentwood - Fall Coffee Lovers BlogHop

Day 3:  Brentwood is my favorite for the Fall Coffee Lovers BlogHop.  This was a freebie at Jessica Lynn Originals.  

Printed Image, colored with ShinHan alcohol-based pens, scanned and cut, distressed egdes with chocolate ink and adhered to card with 3D thin foam tape. Used liquid glass on Brentwood's beak, feet and hands for dimension.

Again, wasn't sure whether the three purples would go together, but I got them all in and I am happy with the results. Purples and Black screamed out Halloween.  

Die-cut the one panel, cut and layered the two small banners.  For the focal point...die-cut two squares, and using White Daisy stamped, colored and cut these adorable Little Monsters...and used on both the inside and outside of the card.

One of my new favorite CTMH paperpaks "Jeepers Creepers" which was a big decision on which design papers to use...so my images were stamped first, colored, and cut.  Extra stamps and cuts were made for the inside with a second sentiment.  Images on front of card were adhered with 3D Thin Foam Tape.

Oh, love the color combination, and what a prettier background and panels than to use the different design combinations of the Paper Fundamentals in Saffron and perfect colors for a Hibiscus focal point. Cardstock for Hibiscus (Poppy) and Leaves (Fern) were used to print the stamps, fussy-cut, applied clear Wink of Stella, and liquid glass on center of flower (as shown below), and adhered with 3D Thin/Regular Foam Tape.  Embellishments were added using sequins centered with Bitty sparkles and ribbon.

Purchased a retired stamp from Ebay and loved the corner borders and sentiment on it; however, the corner borders were either too small or too big so I went back to the drawing board and decided on using one of my favorite flower dies.  Die cut 2 corner borders in Silver Glitter paper, stamped the sentiment on vellum with VersaMark, dry embossed in silver, wrapped the vellum around white cardstock, added the corner borders to the vellum and then adhered to a Paper Fundamentals Black cardstock.
