Coffee Coffee Coffee Time

Had purchased this thermos design paper from a local scrapbook store this last winter and wasn't really sure why and what I was going to do with it for the spring/summer Coffee Lovers BlogHop.  Didn't seem spring enough so I needed to do something to lighten up the colors (see sample of design paper below).  Used one of Brutus Monroe's watercoloring stamps which made a beautiful sky background.  Fussy-cut around several of the thermos to use as high buildings or silo's and adhered them to the background sky with 3d thin foam tape.  Die cut a village border (which was won with a random draw), added black cardstock to the back of the buildings, layered with another cut of village and adhered to dimension the thermos cut.  The time clock was perfect, first stamped in yellow for a sun, but didn't like the contrast, so stamped another one with same color as sky.

What a fabulous scene. I love the idea of a city where the towering buildings are HUGE thermos shaped factories that give out COFFEE to everyone all day long. I think you've created Utopia here! LOL -fabulously fun card!!

Love your thermos silos. Can you imagine how much coffee a thermos that size would hold? Maybe even more than our water tower.
