Combined Mix and Match and This and That.  This and that was circles, arrows, polka dots and stripes.  Mix and Match were design papers from three different packs ... Georgia, Happy Times and Dreaming Big.  Also used one of the zip strips from Dreaming Big, and a few Complements from Georgia.

A few more complements on the inside.

This was another fun card to put together.

The Best Thing... - Color Dare #232

Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #232: This week’s colors shown in the Photo are Fern, Sapphire, Lemon & White Daisy (All and Only).  This color challenge was combined with MoJo Monday's Sketch #485

We encourage you to use CTMH products; however you may use any products to participate using closest to colors ... join in the fun.  You don't need a blog to submit your entry...if you are a member of Pinterest you can set up a Folder and link your entry to our Challenge.

You have until Thursday, March 2nd to enter your project. Please hop on by to see the DT member inspirations and other entrants for both these challenges.

When looking through the many design paper packets there were so few design papers that fit these colors ... so I pulled out the Paper Fundamentals and selected several geometric designs for my card.   So there was a lot of cutting to size, some die-cut borders and then rather than stars I decided to use feathers ... why I don't know ... just like feathers on a card and have had the die for a long time and never used.  And the bow on the sketch looked exactly like my Pretty Pink Posh twine and bows.

This is a close-up of the feathers so you can see the embossed detail included in the die-cut.  Click on picture to get a larger photo for detail..

Stamped a couple more feathers and placed on the inside corner of the card.

You Will Forever Be My Always

Fussy-cut one of the PML Cards included in the Hello Lovely Paper Packet and put it on a Stitched Wonky Square.  Chose the same design paper, die-cut the two sides with a border stitch die and adhered to Sorbet cardstock.  Adhered the Floral panel (lined up the pattern on the background design paper) with  3D Thin foam tape.  Added liquid glass to the large flower and used the shimmer pen on all flowers.

Another die-cut was used for the band...sentiment stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with fine Silver embossing powder...sequins added to floral panel.

The liquid glass was added to the center larger flower, and then brushed with the shimmer pen (the shimmer did not show well on photo)

Happy Birthday - AHSC #200

Immediately thought of the diamond shape design paper in Hello Lovely for my background and added a border cut, layered on sorbet and glacier cardstock and adhered to white daisy card base.  Decided on a floral stamp using VersaMark, heat embossed with very fine silver powder, used thin floral die cut, colored using water pen with CTMH inks, and Sentiment was stamped in black ink. Zip Strip was used for the band and Floral panel adhered with 3D Thin Foam Tape.

Just Because - H2H "Complements"

Please join us this week and other challenges in February AND remember you have all month to create to be eligible for recognition of the Top 10 "Challenge Darling" ... and if you create for each challenge in the month for perfect attendance you will be recognized as an H2H Addict.  For additional inspiration ... hop on by to see all the DT members' and participant creations for this month and join us with your projects.

Chose to use Complements...looked through my stash of Complements and Design Papers and decided on Penelope, one of my favorite retired paper packs.  Since I did not have any large pieces of design papers, the background was a combination of two smaller pieces from the packet.

Chose a striped PML card for one of the panels, layered with cardstock and adhered to the background papers.  In my stash ... the Floral PML card was already layered with cardstock and complements added (sentiment, frog and a couple flowers). Placed this panel catty-corner to stripes with 3D thin foam tape for dimension, and went wild with more complements.

And I didn't stop there...more complements were added to the inside of the card.  This was a fun and easy card to put together and used up some of my stash and small pieces of design papers.

Be Mine, Valentine

Another week as a Guest Designer for The Outlawz Sunday "CAS" Challenge ... The Design Team member posting each week picks their absolute favorite entry from the previous week's challenge and highlights that winner's creation and then invites them to be a guest designer for a future challenge or two.

Please hop on by this challenge to see this week's theme and the other DT members inspirations and JOIN US in this Challenge ... you too can be a future Guest Designer.

This week's project is to create a card with a romantic theme (Valentine's Day, Engagement, Wedding, etc.)  I chose to do a Valentine's Day Card.  I love it so much I'm going to give it to my husband to give to me ... Or, maybe not ... because he always gets me a mushy card and I don't want to ruin that habit ... chocolates and flowers usually come with the card.

The heart and the flowers were both stamped on a white daisy panel, heat embossed stamped florals at bottom corner, colored with ShinHan alcohol-based pens, heart was fussy-cut and plastic window adhered.  On the red panel stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed with Gold, added a gem next to the sentiment, adhered the heart panel to the red cardstock with 3D thin foam tape, and added a couple gems to the flowers around the heart.

Stamped the same corner floral and some flowers on the inside borders of the Card.  Click on photos to get a larger view.

This color challenge was combined with MoJo Monday's Sketch #484 and Between The Folds using the Hello Lovely Paper Pack Challenge #40A or color palette ... also hop on by these challenges to see more inspirations.

There was a lot going on in this Sketch but I think I covered it all with this Any Occasion Card ... emoji's was my choice instead of hearts.  Back to my layering and using as many of the design papers and zip strips from Hello Lovely and using the three panels for my sentiment.

Instead of using panels of design papers decided to stamp the two larger florals from the Paper Garden Stamp set and chicken wire stamp for the smaller panel, distinguishing the panels by the different colors. Cut the Banner, stamped on the chicken wire, layered with black and stamped on Sentiment in Black. A little masking was required...CAS and a twist on the sketch.

The inside of the card was stamped with some of the smaller florals from the same stamp set in saffron and sweet leaf.

Chose "Black and White"...stamped the flowers on black cardstock with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with White embossing powder.  Stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and again heat embossed with White.  The black was so sharp and such a contrast that I decided to spray with Pearl Glimmer Mist, created a fine sparkly spray on the whole card, and muted the black.  You can see some larger droplets of pearl however the photo does not show the mist very well.  Added some white dots in the upper and lower corner for embellishment.

Stamped the inside of the card with the same large floral and a couple other stamps from same set.

Together

This week I am a Guest Designer for The Outlawz Sunday "CAS" Challenge ... The Design Team member posting each week picks their absolute favorite entry from the previous week's challenge and highlights that winner's creation and then invites them to be a guest designer for a future challenge.

Please hop on by this challenge to see this week's theme and the other DT members inspirations and JOIN US in this Challenge ... you too can be a future Guest Designer.

Challenge this week is "Brown & Ivory" and a third color of your choosing.  Needed a card for my significant other (husband) for Valentine's Day so my third color is "Red".  He deserves this card for putting up with me for for almost 50 years "together".  Recently got a packet of Valentine dies from Peachy Cheap and put my Cuttlebug to work.  The background is a light brown with hearts and layered with chocolate brown...yummy. Stamped on the heart and borders on the inside with Cranberry ink.  Great colors for a masculine card.

YoU'Re PuRRR-fEct

Fantastic opportunity be selected as a Guest Designer for Paper Smooches...let the fun begin. You will need to use a Paper Smooches stamp, die or any of our FREE digi stamps. You can submit to our call with "old and new" projects...and projects that you create for our SPARKS Challenge are perfectly acceptable.

My first choice was to use the Chubby Chum Kitty for a Valentine Day's Card, and what's more fun for a Kitty to play with ... a ball of yarn, which made it perfect to use my sentiment border "be my velentine" as yarn ball unravelling.  Add some smaller balls of yarn as balloons, the sentiment and a red glitter heart.

On the inside just put a strip of design paper and another red glitter heart.
