Sunshine, Freedom and a Little Flower

The Hop to Stop 2016

Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence

One of the rules of the hop is that your card needs to be significantly purple, the color of domestic violence awareness. Another is that you need to comment on at least 3 cards before yours in the link up! be sure to read the rules you guys, apart from being respectful, it will make you eligible for many cool prizes!!!. Visit The Damsel of Distressed for all of the details and see all the great inspirations.

For my background I used a wax paper technique using an Darice's "Cherry Blossom Background", ran wax paper through the Cuttlebug, ironed onto cardstock and sponged on color..so simple and elegant. For the Embossing Folder Technique my source was Cuttlebugged Wax Paper technique Gina K Designs video from 2009.

Click on the above photos to see more detail of the Butterfly and Flowers.

Along the border of the inside of the card I used a flower stamp set, using purple ink and masking, that resembled the flowers on the front of the card, and added a flair from another stamp set.
