Valentine Girl

This card was created using The Outlawz Challenge February Progressive Freebie using a vintage digital "Valentine Girl" created by one of Outlawz long-time members, Teresa Arsenault (Tickell Expressions)

Printed two images of Valentine Girl  on design paper, and two images on white cardstock. Fussy-cut the design paper images, one with the ruffle and fussy-cut the full dress for another layer on top. Fussy-cut the heart and hands only from one of the printed cardstock images, and layered on top of dress.  The other printed cardstock image was colored with ShinHan alcohol-based ink, fussy-cut and then adhered the dress/heart layers to the full image.  Wink of Stella was used on the ruffle, shoes and heart

The background was made using two design papers from "Heartstrings"...one design for the scalloped frame with another for the background of the frame.  A doily heart was cut in Cricut Design Space using a complementary design paper from the same paperpak and placed as a panel behind Valentine Girl.  Then cut a small heart with a die, and used the negative of hearts cut from glitter from my stash and fussy-cut aound the sides of hearts.  More puffie hearts were added to card in bottom corner.

Oh what a beautiful job you did with Teresa's lovely image Sue. The dress design is darling. It's a neat idea printing the image on design paper. I like doing that sometime when working with digis. Another beautiful card and I'm sure Teresa will be very happy to see this. Have a lovely Monday Sue. - Hugs, Christina
