Happy Hot Chocolate Season

This is my card for Day 3 of the Holiday Coffee Lovers BlogHop and National Cocoa Day.

Selected the paper I wanted to use from a prize I got from DCWV, a Wintery Scene...wasn't sure what I was going to do with it; but I know I wanted the main focus to be on the beautiful tree and snow.  The paper already had a sentiment "Let it Snow" and it was already glittered.

I stamped, colored and fussy-cut the Fox, the Squirrel, some cocoa/chocolate disposal cups and marshmallows and placed them on the card.  Added a second sentiment and framed with silver glimmer paper on white daisy card stock.

Well, I've gotten to my 3rd card for the Blog, and not too much further to go for commenting. Wasn't sure how this would go over; but it grew on me.

Your technique of coloring the black/white background is perfect - just the right touch of color on the evergreens. Miss Foxy and Sir Squirrel are keeping warm with that delicious coffee! Think I need a cup...
