Fall Splendor

This is a Fall Card created for Color My Heart Color Dare #167 and using the Sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #149, also made to enter as a CAS card at The Outlawz Sunday CAS Challenge using something from your stash that you have not used in a very long time.

I started this card as a Bokeh background and looking at the colors it reminded me of  the colorful falling leaves back East "Autumn Splendor".  Instead of finishing the Bokeh technique, I used a Leaf Stamp Set and stamped several of the leaves along with some masking.  I used a combination of Chocolate and Goldrush for the background color, and then stamped the leafs in Chocolate.

What a beautiful fall card! The colors are perfect and your "stitching" adds just the right touch.

This card has gorgeous fall colors and I love how you made the background. It's incredible how a white piece of paper can be so totally transformed with a bit of ink....

This is very beautiful Sue. Love the softness of the colors and wonderful finished touch with the stitches. Thanks so much for the lovely comments you've left for my little Catherine on her art work. She grins ear to ear reading them. Her artistic ability is way beyond mine. I can't draw like her. So happy she has discovered at such early age and the art class is a big help enhancing her natural born talent. Wishing you a lovely weekend Sue.

Hugs, Christina

Sue, Beautiful background paper and love how you distress it. Amazing fall card.

Thanks for the compliments; however, the distressing on the sentiment is actually a stamp. I never used before, but I'm going to use it on future cards because I love the look. Thanks again.
